Not a fan of spending alot of $$ on top name brand so decided on this and I was very happy,Took some time to learn how to use volume and select buyyom but got it and love it. Great overall. but received item not written Made in German, so I suspected this item production from india or China that why Made in German was not written. OWWIE! I purchased these with the intention of using them in an office environment Where I will be making lots of calls through them. Had a change of heart and decided to give them a 2nd chance. I love my Birkenstock. I would have liked to pay less than 20 dollars for them but considering this was pretty much my only option, I guess its not the MOST amount of money they could have charged. Returns were easy though. If you need super fine sensitivty and detail, then purchase a 48 volt powered condenser microphone like the AKG P120, and a microphone stand with a boom arm on it, then you can hear a pin drop, literally.
