Im 50. These boots have a tread on the sole and when you walk you can feel the tread design- it is annoying if you want to walk any distance in them, but around the house its fine. My little one loves these so much. Upon unpacking, there are several reminders to try out the several tips. They are a bit snug for me though, Im hoping theyll stretch out a little as theyre worn because they are only just too small. They allow me to use only 1 hand to insert each one, not the 2 hands required for the all foam types. It feels very sturdy and hard, yet not feeling cheap. Secondly and probably most importantly there were NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. Beyond fabulous, really. Works very well and the pen is a nice handy feature.
