For those having the sub disconnect I fixed it by doing the following:- Turn off Eco mode. even the auxillery port had no sound! The sound quality on these are really good, especially when youre online talking. After a week of using the HD800(S), to me the HD598 sounded not as detailed/clear, distorted bass, smaller soundstage and I just wasnt having it for the HD598. With that being said, I have another PS4 and have since went with the PlayStation Platinums for $115 and they have a built in mic with independent game/chat mixing for more than half the price. Definitely more noticeable due to the wide sound range. the microphone is quite far from your chin yet it faces no problem with catching the voice and noice cancellation is excellent.
