Unfortunately these 449s are actually WORSE at dampening external sound, and would rate them around a 3. Very responsive. One of those things I noticed immediately is that it does not work as well as the Firefly does with synapse. a real product miss. It?s a subtle gray tone and can fit most any decor style, could even be used in bedroom for robes, jackets, hats, scarves and belts. I like these but the 9 was too short. Stays buckled. Nice comfy summer sandal. Fit as described in the fit size chart. I was happy they could accommodate a double depth of bottles as I had more spices than I thought.
