Back of heel cup is soft and does not rebound after being stepped onto as the older NB slip-on did. Enough that this product shouldn?t be sold on Amazon. Very comfortable compared to others in my collection. Theyre bright white and very cute. so yes it works well. Turtle Beach got it right by making the two volume controls (for game and chat) completely independent from one another.
