Also that you have enough clearance over the garage door rail. Seems to be well made but the straps for the foot and toe were to far back (maybe good fit if you have long toes?) so it didn?t work for us and had to return. The key ring was too bulky for my preference, so I replaced it with a simple 3/4" dia. It could be a defect but I wont be ordering Salt-Water sandals any longer. They were comfortable and very light but their not built for workIf you want a boot for leisurely walks or sitting on a boat, then these are prefect.
