It?s VERY thin gauge aluminum and had cheap flimsy plastic corners. Although slightly snug at first with socks, a few nights of use later and it stretched and conformed to fit real well. Performance is great. Item came in and it looked like someone cut it along the side because there were cut marks on my item. But why would anyone do that? So my concerns were alleviated once I had it set up and tried it out. I had to get used to the microphone boom, which is much more flexible than I was used to. Expensive, perhaps, but considering how high a price you could pay for similar these are at an excellent price point. They?re actually great quality, not the cheap rubber that breaks easily. The mouse fits nicely in palm and the buttons are smooth enough to allow effortless use. I had to return this sound bar and sub-woofer, because the Bluetooth latency is too high to watch movies on.
