Think with hard rubber bushings, age, grit, vibrations, it eventually caused paint to peel, degrade. It broke in 3 months. Also after reading more the description it says that it comes with a universal mic, but my headphones never came with a mic! Been using for a few months now. In the description it says "Excellent Seamless attachment and No Drilling Installment". I was told by a Samsung representative that it was the customers responsibility to know this, because apparently thinking that Samsung would honour their product was naive on my part. Fit very well as well as puality product. Its great though and just what I needed to help organize!
