As this was my first time using a car top carrier, I was extremely nervous that I had installed it improperly and kept stopping on my drive to double check the straps. They have just enough grip that I dont fall, yet I still have a lot of movement and am able to do pirouettes and turns just fine. It does get a little hot and the battery drains very quickly (100% to 86% in about 3 minutes), but it still works when it is warm, and it tells you the number of minutes you have left to use it. The boom rotates 180 degrees, so it is possible to use it straight up and down without disconnecting the boom arm. I added this to my order for the speaker to look after the silver paint finish. These are great, just a little wide in the heel. I purchased this with multiple cases I wanted to try and I have to say I do like this one best due to the slimness of it. Came in a securely packaged box. For me, the vamp was too big. Perfect size and looks very nice.
