It seems random or out-of-place (its a bit hokey-looking on an otherwise high-quality, stylish headset). I used 1" x 1" steel tubes for the crossbars. Sometimes the right bud tears my ear while left one is normal. But they are still a great price and when you think of the good they are doing by donating a second pair of shoes its totally worth it. These beads are just the size I needed If it did it would sway and be loose. They will change your summers forever. No improvements occurred. Used for vocals in Church worship, it gives an expressiveness which makes all the difference. which begs the question "What DOES the warranty cover???" but I digress.
