they are a great slide, at a great price-and with free two day shipping from Prime-you cant go wrong. I have not yet washed them so cannot comment but they are washable. SOUND QUALITY: Next issue with wireless is that sound quality suffers but this was not an issue either. I dont know that it actually saves much space, but it looks a good deal more tidy in my living room and makes cleaning the floor easier! Details, clarity and sparkle versus a bit more moxy. Really handy and great product! The little pouch they give you to hold your earphones is very nice quality and has one of those rigid springy openings you have to gently squeeze to come apart, which I quite like.
