This worked quite well - *great* quality for both my audio and mic. The stretch holds position after it cools off. I chose to leave the fish-wires on while I mounted the hitch. i usually just get my shoes from second hand stores like goodwill . I recorded some samples simultaneously through this mic and a Rode NT1a and when I shared the recordings with some friends no one was able to tell which one was the AKG C414 XLS and these are guys that are sound engineers. There doesnt seem to be any finesse with the control. I would not recommend these to anyone! Function flawlessly. Pairing - as simple as it ought to be. While I do love them and will keep them, I wont be repurchasing this style as it just doesnt fit as expected.
