Surprised is an understatement when I opened the box, they are 100% one piece molded plastic,,,,,, except for the one over arch Velcro adjustment strap (also plastic) all other straps and laces are fake and molded in relief. I returned the first pair (in my usual size) because they were too big. Another great pair of slippers from stride rite. Ordered and received and I was very pleasantly surprised by the sound quality of the Sony and without reservation find that it is a better speaker than the Bose. I just couldnt justify keeping a pair for that price even though they are well made and have a comfortable foot bed. But this is perfect. The box flashes amber and WILL NOT PAIR as a set. The four HP 80 Printheads I ordered did not work. I believe they are probably reselling returned damaged ones and selling them as new.
