After reading some reviews I was concerned these shoes would be too narrow and/or small. In fairness, it is hard to order because these are listed in American sizing - and Mephisto is true European sizing. That said, I wear a size 42 European. Many expensive shoe brands consider a 42 to be an American size 11. A very few consider it to be an (American) size 10. Mephisto considers it to be an (American) size 12.
