It took me quite a while to achieve success. The only disadvantages the Fairy has over the Yeti is that it picks up a noticeably larger amount of noise, requiring me to apply more noise reduction via editing software when recording vocals or instruments, which I am pretty sure there is nothing I can do about in regards to Skype or Zoom calls, unfortunately. I thought I would have to build my own, but I decided I would give this one a try, thanks to the guidance of some of the good reviews here. I still managed to place it on and it still worked. The instructions do say they are for brick. The best feature about it is that on the inside it has a little mesh pocket for you to hold a charging cord or in my case, a USB to USBC adapter. I already love Bose, but this little gem settles it. I use these on all my shoes, and boots.
