I weigh 250 pounds and the bench supports my weight with no wobbles or uncertainty (but I wouldnt try standing or generally getting rambunctious on it. My older Vizio soundbar blocked a small viewing section from the bottom of my television because of its height. For the reasons above and many more, this piece of equipment successfully meets my expectations. Christmas present for my granddaughter. I think they could be slightly larger when they are made but the manufacturer probably figures on some stretch but doesnt tell you that. They work so far, but I doubt that I was sent the original product. but the return of this item not so good. If you intend on playing them softly indoors you probably wont enjoy what they can really do near max volume. It detaches continuously. It did not come with instruction and I am not that tech savvy so I had to google a video to see how to make the switch.
