is the sound quality immaculate? no, but can I tell without a side by side comparison? no. The GE would work as well. I had a go pro hero 5 attached to it. The pocket construction is very odd and the pocket lining flops all over the place making them uncomfortable. Usually not a fan of ear buds due to sensitivity with my ears(which is why I didnt get Airpods Pro), but these has changed the game for me. This is my second set of replacement muffs for my dependable and well travelled QC35s. Using the drill made me finish it completely in 20 min. I wish the Great resistance to this band. Another thing that might annoy you is that sound leaks out of the headphone. Jan C
