These shoes are very comfortable and great for general walking. I have had this type of sock before (purchased from a store) and they lasted years. Weiches Gehen / Laufen. I bought them as a replacement for my wifes EMU slippers from Australia and She is very happy as they have a fluffy generous Lambswoool upper and a good traction sole. If you are considering buying these, please take the time to read this unless you are already sold on them. As it is, in some situations locking the bike up actually requires the use of the cable which weakens the overall locking system, therefore defeating the purpose of the lock to some extent. Assembly was a breeze, and consisted of simply tightening washers and screws with an included allen wrench. It?ll work, but I ended up affixing felt pads to the shortest leg to give it some balance. They are fast and easy to use for changing out weights. Seller hooked me up with an emailed copy of the directions which was really helpful.
