When the slippers arrived they did not have the gel inserts inside the slippers. A significant improvement has been made on platter density (now with rubber dampening on bottom of platter), arm leveler is now slightly recessed for better angular approach to the platter, smaller platter profile thickness also improves arm angle of address to the vinyl, dust cover has a thinner profile because of the slight recesses to the above mentioned and greatly improved motor torque. Do not pay full price for this device. The trick is to tighten the jaws onto the roof rack *before* tightening the cross bar to the jaws. Works well for what I used it for. A+++ Im 34 DD in bras and normally a medium in tops, but to accommodate my bra size I ordered an XL.
