it is bendy but Id rather flip it out of the way quickly as needed. They work great but this pair is not worth getting. Where are the rainbow charms??? It just kind of wobbles back there, Id throw it away right out of the box instead of trying to figure out how to attach it (which the directions dont show you). Luckily the design is identical to the shotgun kids bike seat. That said:Cons:I dont like that they only come in red. There was 1 specific review by a man who had also suffered from Amputations on his foot who said that it was like the shoe had a custom orthotic in it. Other than that---I highly recommend these units!
