This pair (in a color called cognac) I got in a size 6 1/2 WW. but all their mice switches break after a few weeks or months. A little pricey but worth it to me with the added touch of little built in picture frames when its sitting there not in use. Treble possibly not zingy enough for some tastes but in turn that can lead to harshness which is something I was trying to avoid. This are about 3x as thick and about half an inch longer, but manage to stay on just fine. No more painful bouncing, not smothering either. Highly recommend for the weaver in addition to knitters and crocheters. 8" sized straps sound like a good length, but once you get them youll realize they arent sized for anything more than thin cables. For sizing purposes, Im 5 ft 140ish lbs and bought the XL. Me gustó el color, el diseño y cómo ajustan.
