It really IS sturdy. I got this to use with one of the new night table lamps my wife bought. This is a real stand out product. The following day, I went riding and after unloading my mountain bike, it set it up on the stand. Would probably have to go two sizes up. However with the way these seal, the basic size right out the gate fit no issue, it more so rests on your ear instead of going INTO your ear. When it arrived 2 days later, I was impressed with the size and beauty of it. I ordered Ratchet Tie-Down Straps . Great product for the price. Maybe the lack of an explicit ground connection? Maybe my homes older wiring?Unhappily, the lower maybe 25% of the volume knob is useless.
