The ear muffs are sound sealed with a thick padded almost suction like covering that keeps room noise to an absolute minimum. It does come with a small lanyard to hook onto the case to use as a handle. I still prefer the feel of the 3366, HERO and 3391 sensors over the 3331, but performance is indistinguishable in the heat of battle, the materials feel premium and even the shape is excellent ? that makes this mouse a safer recommend than the G403 and a virtual tossup for me personally. You need to install it into a stud behind the drywall.
