I havent hauled anything on them yet, but based on how sturdy they feel attached to the roof rails, I think theyll handle the 150lb rating no problem. It was great to start with but not anymore. All the bikes are on the same side due to my garage space. If youre a mountain biker thats concerned with getting muddy, you may want to re-evaluate your life. The sound gets staticy and sometimes completely cut out.
