Ive tried moving it to a different spot, cleaning with hot water & airdrying, hanging a lighter item. This was why I took the picture. To keep the weight down the metal covering uses aluminium so you get some leakage but unless you are playing at very high volumes ( not recommended) you wont get any sound leakage. I recommend this hitch tightener. 2 weeks later Im told no refund will be issued because the shoes are worn. The resulting sound quality is just as good as with the original cord. All I have is praise for Clayton Lindemuths skills in his storytelling and abilities in keeping my interests.
