As for the size, with pumps, boots or cross trainers, I wear 8-1/2. Hated my previous setup with a 3 tier getting taller towards the back because if you knocked one over so many others fell too. I want to start by saying these things are incredibly similar to the brand name. They wobble and I am scared to hang anything heavy on them. We live in a small apartment and are limited on cabinet space so we bought this to store our wine glasses on. I have set up so that one end can pop open for easy access. The noise isolation is good, it still lets through some higher frequencies but for the most part if you have music playing at a decent volume you wont hear much around you. They should flatten the end after the head is attached so it cant come off. A little cheap feeling in places, but perfectly servicable. Id probably get a half size down if I knew beforehand.
