It?s so flimsy that is arrived damaged (Bent and Dented) from regular transport (not even significant dents in the cardboard box) I wouldn?t recommend this if your looking for sturdy ALL ALUMINUM construction. Im 73 and have not used earphones in years so Im not up to speed on many electronic devices and their features. I could hear bass through the headphones, something I do not always hear from the TV speakers as my wife likes the volume lower than I do. If you can get by that first pass you get a little used to it. fits nicely and feels like soft foam. , . 5s I?ve tried on. Ive always ordered a size larger for slippers online and never had a problem. The units are actually quite stable. I like simplicity but if you like NASCAR or wear Gucci these are perfect.
