The glue holding the black layer to the grey layer had no strength at all, I could peel the whole thing apart with just finger pressure. Will order another one for my spice jars. Charging is not as fast as other competitive products. Oh yes, my son has a pair of these too (not this style) and his are still in pristine condition as well!
