It was super easy to put together too. I had to mess with the gain setting to get it where I wanted it because the factory setting was a little to quiet and I was only going to use 2 of the 4 speakers that came in the kit. You can see the difference in the photo - the original shorter, thinner cord on the left, the better replacement on the right. The bass is really good on these, very clear and punchy. Within 30 minutes of hanging a towel up, the hook and the towel were on the ground. Very happy with this choice! I purchased a different Cobb Hill shoe from Amazon several years ago, it fit great, and its finally at a point where I need to replace it only Rockport doesnt make it anymore.
