He will be wearing these daily at an outdoor summer day camp and needs something that can get wet, protect his feet on the trails, and while playing games at camp. To sum up the whole package, these are excellent earphones for music that just happen to record 3D audio for a totally unique experience. Pairing worked seamlessly and set up on webex Audio was easy as well. They are, however, poorly made with the strap over my right toes being quite rough. I do a lot of running and was looking for something simple to use inside for calf, hamstring, and foot stretching. They dont come w/instructions, but dont put them in the dryer, it will break down the elastic in the band over time (same reason we dont dry bras). It would end up dying and Id be scrambling to hook up another device. To keep the weight down the metal covering uses aluminium so you get some leakage but unless you are playing at very high volumes ( not recommended) you wont get any sound leakage. Frame of the Stumpjumper is odd shaped geometry, but the arms of the bikestacker can be manipulated to fit the frame. It was SO warped in the metal that it actually pulled them off the wall when I set the other side flat.
