After going so far south of good, these are miraculous. They shift easily and did not sit quite flush. I did this and had to return two pairs before purchasing the 7-1/2. Last comment for those searching for proper replacements. Instructions mention you can loosen the bolt that attaches the crossbar to the mounting bracket, but here (again) the shoddy design and quality causes a problem: there is not enough of a "slot" in the brackets mounting hole to allow the bracket to slide far enough down the crossbar to shorten the effective length to fit the car. Sound quality, micro-details, imaging, soundstage and balance are about the same as original. Just the right size to put by my night stand, because that is normally when my inspiration will hit me. Typically good Osprey book. Still quite elegant. with the right and left ear providing different controls.
