The cups themselves measure 3 1/8" across, with the actual speaker hole being 1 5/8" across and 1 7/8" vertically. I only used them once so far but i really love them. - Even though the cable is braided nicely, it still feels flimsy. I have yet to come across any noise-cancelling headphones that do the noise-cancelling component as well as these. I used hollow wall anchors to secure it to the wall instead of the plastic anchors provided. Will not disappoint. I lost my powerbeats by Dre when they fell out of my pocket. For the money paid for it is a really great product. This one replaced the first ones I bought. I use lightspeed at my desk and bluetooth on my couch and have had no problems switching back and forth.
