The elastic bands across the toe give a little stretch and also increases comfort, not cutting into the foot. These are an excellent starting pair or second pair if you do not want to spend more money for A20s or Zulu 3s. They fit well, but run a little narrow in the toe. Good Price???? Good material???? The ONLY issues I have had seems to be that it advertises a detachable mic, I unplugged it and to my surprise there was no aux port, it was connected to a wire, after that, I tried aux mode and the quality was okay. I ordered size 6 and it fits. Bolts spin inside track. There is ample room on the rod to hold lots of clothing, especially needed in a vintage home with small closets. My feet no longer hurt and I can walk for miles.
