However, these dont need an amp, and worked fine with my laptop and phone directly, both without cranking the volume even anywhere near max. Its been over a month now and the bottoms are still in good condition but the straps have started to fray. The volume is powerful and I have no complaints about the noise suppression. We use ours for decoration/key hook. The ear-cups are far more comfortable. It?s lightweight to carry around. It also hides the beautiful rose gold cover on the case. Also- I ordered two and initially only one arrived. The Bose are more muddy on the lows to me and more subdued on the highs. Im not an audiophile so I dont have excellent auditory skills but I do know what dull / unclear audio sounds like and I am happy to report you will not be experiencing much of that on this product.
