The LEDs to tell you when charging is happening are super bright in the dark. The bars are solid and easily adjustable. They offered a free replacement. I use it before school and when I get home the sent is still there. The results were great! if the shoe repair place cannot fix the slippery condition, I will have to sent them back. I love the sturdiness of the metal and the finish looks quite elegant (better than that white plastic coated crap! The faux snakeskin makes for a nice neutral with some pizzazz! I carry heavy things often- kids, big boxes, heavy printers, etc. The blue ones are at least a quarter inch narrower in the toe section than the black ones and dont fit as well.
