Although this mic is omnidirectional it still does better than all the others. I waited too long to replace. I would buy these AKG K701s again in a heart beat. Work great. They look plain but still pretty classy for every day wear, and theyre so comfortable. Well worth getting the OEM Sennheiser pads if you ask me! I have them in multiple colors. The color is bright pink and they are well made. The manufacturer could consider adding a latch to their design to allow easy collapsing when you want it but never when you dont. I have a foot injury that makes me have to wear unsupportive shoes and fitflop is great.
