The stand seems on par with what I?d expect from a typical $20 mic stand: mostly metal construction and entirely usable for light-duty purposes. The caged flywheel (rotor) was hot enough to burn my hand, otherwise. It works GREAT for my watch and earbuds wireless charge but will be sticking to my Samsung chord for my phone for now. Have jad to use it already and it worked great. Sound quality is very bad. Bottom line, sent them back right away. They do stick out a bit so i wouldnt sleep with them in. Great design, very poor quality! I initially bought these as shower shoes at the gym, which is the perfect use since they are made mostly out of soft rubber and padding. I had to go out & buy shorter bolts.
